Outdoor Weddings& Unique Aesthetics

To make your wedding day memorable, you definitely want it to be a truly unique experience. Many women place a great deal on other aspects of planning a wedding, yet do not stop to consider the first step…location. It’s more than the clothing attire worn, the catering or the floral setting! The ceremony is itself is most important, and the location, scenery and setting is everything.

Compare your wedding to a theatrical play in which the background of a play is the foundation of the story—And you do want the correct surroundings don’t you? You cannot expect that your wedding will be flawless with an improper setting.  So what better than to begin with deciding where you want to have the wedding ceremony? You must ask yourself if you want a traditional or non-traditional wedding. Another way to pose this question is to ask whether you would like to be married in a church, indoors or outdoors.

Ceremonies in churches are considered to be old-fashioned, the new trend is to have an outdoor wedding. The location to have an outdoor wedding ranges from botanical and sculpture gardens, elaborate gazebo arrangements, atriums, mansions and scenic romantic spots like on a beach or by a waterfall.

These are considered to be some of the most aesthetically pleasing backgrounds for a wedding. And, although the ideas themselves sometimes might not seem that original, the creation of their unique qualities is solely left up to your imagination. Of course, it is then up to the capable hands of your wedding planner to make it happen…So hire a good wedding planner.

I’ve seen wedding ceremonies that were performed in botanical gardens that were most unusual. The one in particular was set over a stream of water that was the center isle where the wedding procession walked. The ground beneath wedding participants was clear so they could see the water. And this was pulled off in a lavish nature setting with sculpted bushes and trees, magnolia flowers and a large gazebo.

Take advantage of all of the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer, and consider an outdoor wedding!
